Videonystagmography (VNG) is a diagnostic test used to evaluate the inner ear and central nervous system to find the cause of dizziness, vertigo, or balance problems. It uses infrared video cameras to monitor involuntary eye movements, known as nystagmus, that are associated with the vestibular (balance) system.
